Jeremy Rebus

Jeremy Rebus was a teen boy who worked as an employee at the Carson Stiles Gateway Theater.

History

Jeremy Rebus was born in April 1994 in Concord, New Hampshire.  Growing up, Jeremy was quick to become obsessed with video games.  His prized possession was his Game Buddy hand-held system.

In 2008, at the age of fourteen, Jeremy Rebus began part-time work at the Carson Stiles Gateway Theater, running the projector, cleaning up between shows, and managing the ticket booth.

One year later, theater owner Todd Wickerman's teen daughter, Heather, began working at the theater, and Jeremy was quick to note that she had a crush on him.  Though Jeremy did not have deep feelings for Heather himself, he played along, and the two began to date without Todd's knowledge.  Over time, Jeremy began to develop feelings of his own, but he always thought that Heather viewed the relationship as more serious than it actually was.  One day in early 2011, Todd caught Heather and Jeremy kissing in the theater's basement storeroom, and he was livid.  Todd forbade Heather from ever seeing Jeremy outside of work but did not fire Jeremy--much to Jeremy's astonishment and relief.

The Filmmaker

In May 2011, Heather Wickerman was murdered, and Jeremy grieved immensely.

One month later in June, Jeremy Rebus was crushed to death in the theater arcade by Claude Ferucil, who subsequently infused his soul inside the film Aliens from Mars!  Jeremy remained there in a trapped state, no longer alive but unable to pass on, until he was rescued and freed by Brianna Auberon in December of that year, after which he was able to finally pass on.
